Stephen is the Executive Director responsible for overseeing daily operations of the community, ensuring quality care and services are provided to residents and achieving high resident satisfaction. He has been in the healthcare industry, in leadership roles both as an administrator and regional, for over 15 years. Stephen has worked for several regional and national providers of assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing and behavioral throughout Michigan and Ohio including Rae-Ann, Sovereign Health Care, Foundation Health Care, Concord Health Care, Communicare and Diversicare. During his long and distinguished career, Stephen has achieved, among other honors, recognitions for high resident and associate satisfaction, full capacity, successful leadership, low associate turnover and deficiency free surveys. Stephen is a licensed nursing home administrator. He attended SUNY Oswego and graduated with degrees in business administration and human resources.
Beth is the Wellness Director responsible for overseeing resident health care services, the medication delivery system, in-service training of the Health Services Department and conducting assessments.
Community Relations Director
Robin is the Community Relations Director responsible for sales and marketing and has helped numerous families find placement for their loved ones. Prior to Bloom, Robin worked as a State Tested Nursing Assistant and then spent 18 years in the medical staffing industry focused upon business to business sales and working with hospitals. She graduated college with an associate's degree in business and achieved her certification for medical assisting. Robin lives in North Ridgeville, has two sons and enjoys exercising and spending time with her family.
Life Enrichment Coordinator
Shari is the Life Enrichment Coordinator responsible for planning and coordinating community-sponsored activity, exercise and wellness programs for residents, as well as, ensuring our residents continue to live life to their fullest potential, enjoying their favorite activities while discovering new ones, and blooming into their best selves through growth and discovery. Shari has been with Bloom for years and was previously our lead Concierge.
Marcielle "Marcie" Awa
Business Office Manager
Marcie is the Business Office Manager responsible for maintaining day-to-day business office operations and procedures, including payroll, rent deposits and resident billing. Marcie has an associate’s degree in business administration from Cuyahoga Community College. Being a lifelong resident of Lakewood, Marcie is excited to join Bloom. She lives in Lakewood with her husband and enjoys spending time with family and doing Zumba at the Lakewood YMCA.
Director of Maintenance
Michael is the Director of Maintenance responsible for maintenance, repairs and improvements to the community. Michael loves working and interacting with our residents on a daily basis to ensure their homes and surroundings are in a safe condition and our residents are happy.
